UC San Diego Extension’s Instructor Conference, scheduled for Saturday, May 17, has been cancelled.
The following announcement was made by Vicki Krantz, Extension’s assistant dean for academic planning:
“Given the extraordinary challenges posed by this week’s wildfires, we realize that you, along with your friends, colleagues and family members, may be coping with evacuations and clean-up.
“Thank you for registering for this event; your interest confirms our belief that such a gathering would be fun and beneficial for all. We apologize for the late notice. Please be assured that we will reschedule as soon as possible.
“In the meantime, we hope all of those in our community of Extension faculty emerge from this crisis safe and well.”
